Mr. Aspis brings to Martin Project Management (MPM) over 30 years of extensive experience in the fields of construction, development, and facilities management. He has been involved with a broad range of mid and high rise projects across North America including commercial, corporate, residential, retail, and specialty projects.
Prior to joining MPM, Mr. Aspis managed construction operations for Thomas Properties Group as Senior Vice President. His projects included: the Murano, a $145 million, 43 story, 302 unit luxury condominium located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Four Points, a $32 million, 200,000 SF, certified LEED® Gold office complex located in Austin, Texas; and the Brookhollow Phase 1 Renovation, a 212,000 SF project that included ACM abatement with complete interior demolition and replacement of the exterior curtainwall.At GMH Military Housing Mr. Aspis managed a $2 billion privatized military housing residential portfolio in eight states. Between 1992 and 2000 he was Vice President for Citigroup (Los Angeles, Tampa, and New York) where he provided development and construction management services throughout the U.S. He was responsible for the successful completion of the Tampa Campus, a $188 million mixed-use development complex. Additionally, he managed a portfolio of commercial assets in mid-town Manhattan for Citigroup, with an annual operating budget of $157 million.A licensed General Contractor in California in the 1990’s, he was a former construction arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and also served on the Design Review Commission for San Juan Capistrano.Mr. Aspis received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University in 1982.
